About us-who we are and what we collect.
So that you may know a little bit about whom you’re dealing with, we
offer a bit of a biographical sketch on the proprietors of jennrog-collectables.com.
We’re Roger and Jennifer Heatley, and we live in Pepperell,
Massachusetts, U.S.A.
Roger has a full time REAL job, in the commercial optics industry, and
Jennifer stays home and tends to much of the day to day business of jennrog-collectables,
as well as being a full time Mom to our 7 year old son, Christopher.
Roger is a natural born collector, and has been half heartedly
collecting bottles since the early ‘70s. Not too long ago, we arrived in the 20th
Century, bought a computer and went “on line”. Roger discovered eBay,
Collectables: Bottles: Poison, and the rest is history. He’s pretty much
divested himself of the rest of his bottle collection, in favor of the Poisons.
Jennifer is hooked on Victorian Christmas Lights and Cream Pots.
She appears to be on her way to being hooked on Marbles, as well! All this, from a
gal, who until a couple of years ago, had never collected anything! (Weird!)
We started jennrog-collectables in the summer of ’99, with the
goal of letting Jennifer work at home, and in May of ’00 it became a reality, with
her “retirement” from the high tech/high stress commercial optics industry.
(We both worked at the same company)
In January of this year,
we formed Jennrog Collectables LLC, a formally incorporated company since we
felt that with our current rate of growth, we needed something a bit more
structured.
We currently sell through eBay, have an ever growing string of
cabinets/nooks in antique malls, do a few bottle and antique shows, and now, hopefully
we’ll sell something from time to time, through this web page!
So, browse around, stay as long as you like, and we hope you find
something you like!
