SM-489 Nice Concertina Type Corkscrew.  This 1950s vintage corkscrew was fashioned after Weir’s Patent #12804, which was issued on 25 September, 1884.  Its size is 6” closed, and 12” when fully extended.  It’s made of bronze plated steel, and is debossed GUILD OF SOMMELIERS / IN VINO FELICITAS / GUILD OF SOMMELIERS on three of the levers.  It is in excellent, bordering near mint condition, with only a couple of small scratches.  And by the way, this is an excellent functional corkscrew – we use one, regularly!    SOLD
